Chamonix Intro details | 1:3 | £760 | 23-27 June 4-8 Aug 8-12 Sept | 5 days climbing and instruction in the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont Blanc Massif, tackling rock, ice and mixed peaks such as the Tour Ronde, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aig de Floria and the Aig. du Tour. Instruction will cover all the fundamentals of glaciated Alpine climbing. We will spend 2-3 nights in mountain huts during the week. |
Mont Blanc details | 1:4 then 1:2 | £995 | 8-13 June 13-18 July 24-29 Aug | We start with 3 days and 2 nights spent high in the Mont Blanc range acclimatising and learning the basic skills, all the while climbing the Petit Fourche and Aig du Tour. This is followed by a two-day ascent of Mont Blanc, leaving a crucial contingency day in case of bad weather. |
Eiger/Matterhorn details | 1:2 then 1:1 | £1595 | 20-25 July 10-15 Aug | The first 3 of 6 days are spent doing training climbs and acclimatising around Chamonix. Typical climbs include the Cosmique Arete, traverse of the Entreves and big-boot rockclimbing in the Aig Rouges. We then drive over to Switzerland for the main event. An all important spare day is built in, in case of bad weather. |
Chamonix Classics details | 1:2 | £1250 | 15-20 June 27July-1Aug 31Aug-5 Sept | 6 days of climbing classic routes around Chamonix - a blend of airy ridges, mixed climbing and rock routes according to conditions and your ambitions. Typical routes might include: Midi-Plan traverse, Aig de Peigne, Forbes arete on Aig de Chardonet. A very flexible week. |
Swiss 4000ers details | 1:3 | £895 | 29 June-4 July 17-22 Aug | Based in Saas Grund we spend 6 days climbing the Allalinhorn, Strahlhorn, Lagginhorn and traversing the Weissmiess - all classic 4000ers. A great intro/intermediate week. |
