Our 5 day off-piste clinics focus on doing alot of skiing (because it's fun!) and along the way, blending in coaching and instruction from a guide and BASI ski instructer. Flexibility is the key - at times a more structured instructional session is appropriate and at others on the hoof coaching is better. Keeping it relaxed and fun, we think, is the way forward...

Having a guide and an instructer gives the optimum balance of skills, from seeking out the best skiing which may be on a glacier, to expert tuition. Our unusually low ratios ensure quality coaching for everyone.

We split our clinics into intermediate and advanced so that everyone on the course is at a similar level and looking for similar things out of the clinic. If you have specific goals, let us know!

You can expect to be skiing all day from first lift (legs allowing!) with some warm up runs to start with. Lunch will be taken in one of the mountain snack points or restaurants.

We will be skiing all around Chamonix using the best conditions available, this will include skiing on the glaciers of les Grands Montets and from the Aig du Midi (conditions allowing).

Included in the price: guides/instructers fees and expenses, travel during the week.

Not included in the price: Travel to and from Chamonix at the start/end of trip, accommodation in Chamonix, equipment rental, insurance, meals and drinks, lift passes.

Meet: We meet Sunday evening at 6pm in Chamonix to deal with any equipment rental, buy ski passes and run through the plan for the week. We finish up on Friday after skiing

Kit List

skis and poles

Boots - these must fit and be comfortable. We feel it is best not to rent boots. Rather buy some and have them fitted professionally - this will make your week much more comfortable, fun and blister free! 'Fit' is more important than whether a boot is 'stiff enough' or not.

Rucksack - 30l. with ski straps

Waterbottle - not platypus type - they freeze and leak.

Transciever, probe, shovel, harness, 1 screw gate karabiner

sunglasses, goggles (2 pairs useful after a wipeout!), sunscreen, lip salve/block

Normal skiwear, including spare gloves.

We can help with equipment rental in Chamonix.

contact us if you are not sure which week is best for you...
